Digital Radiography
Dental x-rays help us identify any problem that may be forming within your teeth or bone. We use the latest in digital dental radiography reducing the amount of radiation exposure by up to 90%. A tiny ‘sensor’ is positioned briefly inside your mouth. The sensor acts like a miniature VCR camera, except that its chip is sensitive to x-rays, not light. The image appears on a computer monitor where we can then explain to our patients about any dental concerns.
Intra Oral Camera
The intra oral camera takes individual close-ups of your teeth. A handy pen-sized, camera-tipped wand is inserted into your mouth. Covered with a disposable plastic sheath to prevent contamination, the wand simply takes a video of the inside of your mouth and transmits the images via cable to a computing unit. The computing unit enlarges the full-color images and sends them to a TV screen.
Nitrous Oxide
Nitrous Oxide Sedation is a very effective way to help you stay relaxed and comfortable during a dental procedure. It is a very light form of sedation, which works fast and wears off quickly.
